Undertaker, Greenford Road

This is one of three firms of undertakers that I’m aware of in Greenford and its window reflects the way the suburb has changed over the years. It provides the funerary requirements for a range of faiths including Christianity. Many local residents came here decades ago from other countries and inevitably their families come to require these services. There must have been a time when making arrangements of this kind involved an awkward interaction with the local bureaucracy but today hospitals, coroners and the police are usually familiar with these protocols.
