London Motorcycle Museum, Oldfield Lane South

A group of visitors from the Netherlands in a nineteenth century barn crammed with part of the extraordinary collection in the care of the London Motorcycle Museum. Boards over the doorway carry the signatures of visitors from around the world, who travel to see the collection in the surviving buildings of Ravenor Farm. This wonderful display of vintage motorcycles has been brought together through the hard work and determination of dedicated volunteers, who have also renovated the farm buildings that date from the 1860s. The museum’s administrative area is based in the former hayloft and forge. In 2013 the collection will be open to the public on Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays. You can support the museum by taking out annual membership or adopting a bike. Click here to see the museum website which gives details of admission and forthcoming events.
