Frozen cobweb, Grand Union Canal

There has been a dramatic drop in temperature. The footbridge over the frozen canal is draped with crystal cobwebs. Teasels and cow parsley glitter in the hedgerows. The meadow that was dotted with golden bales of hay at the end of summer is now silvered with frost.

My thanks to Vee Ladwa for suggesting that today’s location should be Horsenden Hill.
