Polish mass, Our Lady of the Visitation, Greenford Road

Worshippers arrive at Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church. Mass is said twice on weekdays and six times on Sundays, including a 5pm mass in Polish. There has always been a substantial Polish community in the borough of Ealing but it became larger following EU expansion in 2004. Many Catholic churches began to provide mass, as well as other support, in Polish. Some of those attending this evening were children born in the UK whose parents want them to retain something of their culture and sense of community.
