Uncontrolled crossing, Greenford Broadway

The gasworks continue to mushroom all over Greenford with a consequent impact on traffic. The irony is that pedestrian crossing at this junction is almost always uncontrolled as few can be bothered to wait that long for the lights to change and often take their chances. This junction was designed for vehicles not people. Parts of three lanes leading up to it are closed so it’s a lot easier (and safer) to cross at the moment.
