Text me, Horsenden Hill at Horsenden Lane North

The words “Text me Rent lad” scrawled on a map board along with a mobile number testify to what sometimes happens on the hill after dark. Unfortunately it has a reputation for this kind of activity. There are no straightforward solutions to the policing of this huge open space but I have wondered if the patrols that were once carried out there on horseback should be reinstated.

perhaps your safer neighbourhood team need to know this if they don’t already. plus your Councillors and our council leader! i would have rubbed it out LOL to disappoint the fella!!

    • There were a number of men hanging around in the car park for no apparent reason and I suspect it would be difficult to stop it altogether without having a constant police presence. The sad thing is that the phone number is probably there because he needs the money.

Let me know what you think...
