It has taken about two months to build this new restaurant and “drive-thru”, which replaces the original one on the other side of the car park. The new sign still features the golden arches but I’ll miss the old one. This is the pedestrian entrance from Greenford Road, designed to slow down anyone tempted to rush across the path of customers using the driveway. I think this new structure blends in quite well with its surroundings, there’s a lot of wood (simulated or real) present and the external seating area is more attractive than the picnic benches they had before. An improvement on the first building and reasonably attractive by day as well as by night.
