Palletways truck, Auriol Drive

A Palletways tractor unit with its forty foot trailer, one of the largest trucks on the road in the UK. Auriol Drive is one of the entrances to Greenford Park, on the former Lyons factory site. Tea barges used to land their cargoes at the Lyons dock on the Grand Union canal but these days freight arrives here on wheels rather than on water.
