Royal Mail truck, Green Park Way

This is one of my favourite sights, a Royal Mail articulated truck, with its stylish red livery.  The company can trace its history to 1516, when Henry VIII established a “Master of the Posts”, but the form of transport has changed quite a lot since deliveries were carried on horseback. There is a steady flow of red vehicles to and from the huge mail sorting centre, ranging from small vans to lorries like these hauling containers that are forty feet long.
