Operation Wellfound, Greenford Road

Operation Wellfound happened because Howard Measham offered a bed for the night to the friend of a friend. A conversation over breakfast led to the founding of a charity that works to provide clean water and sanitation in places where they cannot be taken for granted. At present they have projects in Kenya, Guinea Bissau and Senegal.

Their next fundraising event will be their annual “Walk for Water” in May – details here. Lovely beaded jewellery is also on sale at their office in Greenford Road. All the money raised goes towards their work as the administration costs and the premises are provided by the Measham family. If only we were all as motivated as Howard and his team.
