Greenford Redevelopment consultation, Greenford Road

This was a public event held at the security office at the former Glaxo Smith Kline site to gauge local opinion about its redevelopment. One of the three large buildings that will be retained, the subject of an earlier post, is being considered as a west London base for the Greenwich School of Management. The original headquarters, a listed building, may be converted to flats as part of a total transformation of the former research and development area. The site may eventually include a cinema or a supermarket. It is very important that local residents have their say on the Greenford Redevelopment website (here) as it will have a profound impact on the landscape and population of Greenford. The event was organised by Iceni Projects on behalf of the site’s owner and attended by the principal of the Greenwich School of Management.
