Public consultation, Horsenden Primary School

This was one of the events held to get feedback from local residents about a proposal to build a new school in Greenford. The drop-in meeting took place at Horsenden Primary School whose pupils will benefit the most from it. At present they have no “feeder” school, in other words, one where most of them could find a place once they reach the right age. It is hoped that it will open in September 2013 in Oldfield Lane North, on a site once used as Glaxo’s Sports and Social Club. Rob Hannan of the consultation team can be seen on the right. The event was also attended by Ealing’s Conservative leader, Councillor David Millican.
