Mystery building, Ruislip Road East

I have always been intrigued by this small brick building, between the River Brent and the Lidl supermarket. It is fenced off and looks as though it might have been a Victorian chapel with a small churchyard, although there are no grave stones. Another possibility is that it is some sort of pump house or electricity substation. The wooden side door is still there but the other entrance has been bricked up. I would love to know more about it but have not come across any explanation for it so far.

I think it may be a pump house, the London ring main runs close by.

Let me know what you think...
