Gravestones, Greenford Road

It makes perfect sense that shops selling gravestones and memorials should be located near a cemetery, in this case Greenford Park cemetery in Windmill Lane. There are two in this attractive parade which looks as though it dates from the period just after the First World War. Kenward and Son is a long established local company (take a look at the page about their history on their website) but the football shirt shaped gravestone in their window is very up to date. Milestone Memorials seem to favour a more traditional approach and their opening times are appropriately displayed on a gravestone.
